Excellent little find!

Fantastic stay. Will stay here again. Breakfast brilliant, tea & coffee facilities, slippers and nice toiletries in the room. 10min easy walk from station and 15mins from The Leaning Tower.

A well located, comfortable and clean hotel.

Pros: The location, the rooms were comfortable, well air-conditioned, good and free wifi, reasonably priced.
Location: Well located - near enough some of the more 'happening' areas, but close enough to the Tower if it's just your desire to go see it.
Having been in Pisa for extended periods, my first recommendation would be after seeing the square of miracles (the tower), not to go back that way - except maybe in the evening when it is quieter. Pisa is a lot more than just that square. Hotel Bologna is perfect for that. It's on a quieter side-street, but near some of the more lively areas of the town. It is clean, comfortable, reasonably priced. I don't have any particular qualms about my experience.

Great location quiet but close to everywhere.

Excellent breakfast near to all the sites and to the station staff frienday and helpfull.

Traditional - in mostly good ways

Pros: Location, and traditional style
Cons: sound proofing between rooms
Staying in a hotel like this reminds you of just what you miss out on in a chain hotel. The staff had a real passion and great care seems to be taken of the hotel and the offerings such as the great breakfast buffet. However what comes with the territory is limited insulation between rooms. There would be no easy solution to this and you'd be unlucky to get really noisy neighbours. But you don't necessarily want next door to be able to hear your conversations!

Great value, nice old building, helpful staff.

Pros: The room was spacious and very well equipped. The room looked out on the central courtyard and was quiet at night.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't included, but looked good. There was very little to dislike about the hotel.
Location: It's very close to the main tourist sites in Pisa.

Pros: Located a short walk from the train station, this jewel of a hotel was a delightful surprise. Staff was friendly, welcoming and exceedingly helpful.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The principle attraction, the leaning tower is within walking distance, and no difficulty whatever to find.
This was our first time in Pisa. It did not disappoint nor did the hotel. Great facility, wonderful staff, excellent location.
