Relaxing, simple hotel in great location

Pros: Location, adults only and the relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Our only criticism is that the hotplate at dinner tends to dry out the food, especially the fish, which is a shame as the quality and flavour is good.
Location: Great for the beach, with some nice bars and restaurants. It takes around 15 minutes to walk into town and Pine Walk
This is the 4th time we've stayed at this hotel but the first time that we've had a sea view room, which was definitely worth the extra cost. The hotel is simple but nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, with fantastic views across the bay. The bar is reasonably priced and there is a sufficient range of dishes at dinner, which doesn't cost much more than having bed and breakfast.

good position, bad facilities & food

Pros: Position
Cons: a lot
I would not recommend this hotel. The position is great but the only rooms that have a view are the sea view rooms. We were next to a building site with an unfinished pool that had rain water in it. We couldn't open our windows because of the mosquitoes. I know this is not the hotels fault but we should have been warned before we booked. The hotel did offer a different room but the view was just as bad. The breakfast was terrible. The fruit juice tasted powdered not fresh. The cereals were the cheapest quality. The scrambled eggs were hard most mornings and not refreshed, the fresh fruit was a joke & the table cloths had stains on them from previous users. We had a meal the first night as the outside dining area looks attractive. It was awful. The hotel was full of mainly older aged English people who were all lovely and I felt sorry for the service that they were getting. I actually think it is the Hotel Group who are at fault not the Staff as they seem to run this hotel on a very strict budget. It definately was not worth 130 euros per night.
