Probably the worst hotel room I have stayed in. Size of a ship cabin. It was clean is the only positive.

We felt very unsafe. Unsavoury characters fighting and soliciting outside hotel. Car parking inadequate and told to park at B&Q where the car park was covered with glass which looked like broken windscreens. We did not stay and chose to drive 200 miles home at midnight. Staff excellent but when you don’t feel your property or yourself to be safe, the. It was impossible to stay.

Ladies at check in were very friendly and welcoming. Free hot drinks are available all day although i do like a kettle in my room. Great hotel for stopover for early morning ferry. Plenty of parking and near a huge tesco.

basic room but comfortable. Friendly staff. would have been helpful to have coffee making facility in the room. there was plenty of free overnight parking in the B&Q store opposite simply by booking number plate at reception

No fuss breakfast was good for me towels changed daily i took my own kettle so i didn't have any problems getting a drink tesco next door pubs around Fratton were walkable distance
