Pros: The location
Cons: The room could do with overall improvement
Location: Location is very good and the falls and things to do at the falls was very good
The hotel staff were very helpful but the rooms need to be improve very basic . Unfortunately at 6am thyey had group of people from China doing morning discussion on magaphones out side our room. Looking right on to the falls so w we're paying for A top room found this very disappointing the management alound this especially when there is so much space out side the hotel. That would not have caused this disruption . Can not say the hotel is good enough. For 4.5 /5 star rating .

Great location but hotel needs some work!

The hotel is in an excellent location and the pool and spa are great. The rooms are old and need updating. I booked the hotel for my boyfriend for his birthday and emailed the hotel prior to this. They said that they would do something special in our room. However this never happened! We actually ended up getting engaged on 28 December and when my partner inquired about booking a table in the hotel restaurant for that evening he was told that we couldn’t reserve a table. They didn’t seems to bat an eyelid that we had just got engaged which was very disappointing!

You pay only for the location. 3 star rooms

Since it is situated in this National Patk, you can make full use of your time doing the several trails. Of course the view of the falls is amazing Sheraton who ran this hotel until 2 months ago should be ashamed of themselves for running down the rooms as badly as they did. I am being kind in rating the rooms as 3 stares.

Trip back in time

We stayed here for two days and had a falls view.... which was fabulous. The hotel has a 60s vibe... a bit like the set from Mad Man but its position makes it a must stay. The Falls are one of the best things I have ever seen....go !!

Perfect location, brilliant service!

We were worried to stay at Sheraton for some negative reviews that we read before hand but we got a good offer so booked at the Sheraton, 2 double rooms. The hotel is in the most perfect location, right inside the park. The views from the restaurants are of the Iguazu Falls and it is spectacular. We did not get rooms with views to the falls but our rooms faced the front of the hotel, with views to their beautiful gardens, lovely balcony. I really don't know why people complain about this hotel, it was top in cleanliness and the staff always ready to help you. The food was really good. Yes it is expensive but the quality of the room, the comfy beds, the views made it all worth while. No time wasting from city traveling to the park in and out, no queues, just open your eyes and set off to a wonderful day.

Beautiful location

A good standard hotel with all the expected facilities. Rooms clean and spacious however at the time of our visit there appeared to be a refurbishment taking place which may cause issues. Bar service was poor, very slow and bar tender said there was no tonic water in the hotel despite having drunk a gin and tonic 20 minutes earlier in the restaurant. We had to go back to the restaurant ourselves for service as the barman didn't offer!!

Great location

Was slightly nervous about the hotel given some previous reviews but overall very nice hotel. Paid bit extra for room with view of falls which is well worth it. The hotel rooms have just been refurbished and very nice and comfy. Views from room stunning. Breakfast was very good - although the meal in the evening was just ok, typical hotel chain. The pool is lovely and separate saunas in male/female changing areas which is very plush. The spa can be used for extra cost and I didn't try but looked nice. Location is big selling point. We arrived on early flight 730am and taxi brought us straight to hotel (110Peso I think, but anyhow the prices are displayed in baggage area of airport - get taxi at desk on left before you exit baggage area), stopping at park gate en route to buy ticket for park - taxi waits for you. Location is fab as its only hotel within the park and so you can nip back in daytime (if soaked on boat!) and means you can go and wander the walks early in morning before the crowds or late on after the park has closed. Enjoyed my stay.

Please warn people to have Argentinian money to pay park entry fee otherwise be in a hands of taxi driver who will exchange money at the ripp off rate but it is not much watch also tips after you sign bill they add 10percent on top themselves

great location

if you had stayed in other Sheraton hotels, you will be disappointed by the standard of this one. The hotel is a bit dated and the food is average. . On the plus side, the staff is very helpful and can't bit the location:right in the national park. Note that (as it's not mentioned on website when you book) , before you reach the hotel, you have to pay an entry fee of 130 pesos (one off) if you are foreigner, 20 Pesos if you are local. This is because the hotel is in the national park. also, the hotel is far form the nearest town. so there is nothing to do in the evening (you can get a cab as there is no shuttle to town) . if you want to entertain yourself on the internet, this comes at an extra cost. But i guess, you stay in this hotel for the falls. another tip: you can't see the falls at night time (i saw a guy breaking out his massive camera at 8pm. what a disappointment that was)
