Elegant hotel great service

We got upgraded to a Lake suite (room305) incredibable views, massive suite, patio, living area, kitchenette and washing machine. So stylish and comfortable I want to live here. Bus number Fernhill 1 runs into town opposite stop - catch it in town on camp st $5. Taxi from hotel capped at $12. It’s about $46-49 to airport from hotel. It’s a walk uphill back to hotel easy walk downhill into town. Small swimming pool area - underground free car park and laundry perfect

Good hotel just outside the main town

The hotel is just outside Queenstown and o oh a short walk away. For us, this was a good thing as we had the impression that Queenstown itself could get dry boisterous at night as we drove through the town in the evening. Hotel staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly and alll the facilities we required were present in the room and at the hotel. Food as expected was of a high standard and delicious. Guests in nearby rooms were noisy - coming in noisily at 2am and on one evening arguing loudly in the middle of the night and we had the impression that sound carried easily through the walls which limited the quality feel of the room (which was very well appointed) to a degree. There is little that a hotel can do to limit guest noise (perhaps until after the event by which time it is too late). We did however observe that the hotel was formed of separate blocks and wondered if it was possible for the hotel to designate one of these as a quiet block for those who prefer a full nights sleep over late night revelling? Just something for the hotel to consider in the future. This didnt however spoil what was otherwise an excellent stay.

Good morning Wes, Thank you for taking the time to leave your honest feedback following your recent stay. I was most concerned to learn your stay was disrupted by some noisy guests during the night. Our Front Office is open 24/7, and guests can call down at any time and our friendly staff will address any noise disruptions whenever possible. I was happy to hear this didn't spoil your overall stay. I'm glad you enjoyed the hotel facilities and our restaurant food. Thank you again for your feedback and for your recommendations, they will be passed on to our management team for review. We hope you enjoyed you stay overall and we look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the not so distant future. Kind regards, Luke Thorne Duty Manager
