Excellent hotel, although a little way from town there is a bus stop pretty much opposite. Great eating places nearby too. Would definitely recommend, we will stay here when we come back to Iceland.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to review us after your stay! Although we are slightly out of the city center, there is a bus every 15 minutes that goes to the center. Makes it just that much easier to get into town and back. Best Regards,

Warm, clean and comfortable. Good choice for breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Half hour walk into city centre, but there is a bus stop just outside and we were usually the first to be dropped off after each tour. A drying room would have been beneficial, otherwise I can recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located for Reykjavik centre (15 mins walk), the hotel is also well placed for trip transfers and for local amenities such as the geothermal pool & sauna (5 mins), the zoo and botanical gardens, and walking to the coast (10 mins) plus local food outlets, a bank and a couple of good ice cream shops. Hotel clean and modern, very good breakfast buffet. Good facilities. Nice sea view from front rooms.

Great hotel for Reykjavik

Pros: Clean and modern Friendly staff Good breakfast Comfortable beds Location
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Slightly out of centre of town but nice walk into city centre. The largest geothermal public baths are only a 5 minute walk away.
We stayed at this hotel in early August 2016 and would strongly recommend based on our experience. Overall, the hotel was very well presented and had a nice atmosphere as soon as you entered. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were of a very good standard, good breakfast selection, and the location was perfect for us and very close to the largest public geothermal in Reyjavik. There were also a few nice eating places next to the hotel (pizzeria, an Icelandic cafe, sushi and Vietnamese) which were all good. Only slight drawback is that location is slightly out of centre of town, but is a pleasant walk into the city centre and plenty of buses stop directly outside the hotel. Also means we were first to be dropped off after day trips.
