Excellent hotel with good food, good service and location. Rooms are slightly tired but it adds to the charm of the hotel. Well done to Vicky the lifeguard sat there all day keeping us safe but always with a smile and interacts well with the guests. A real asset to the hotel. Eri in the restaurant is so friendly and welcoming it made dinner a real pleasure Thank you and we will be back

For anyone who is concerned about whether they will be safe on holiday them THIS is your hotel. We moved from another hotel nearby as we didn’t feel safe and what a difference. Temperature checks on arrival and every breakfast. The staff are all amazing but a special thank you to Popi for her amazing service At meal times and a better manager than Nikos you will not find on the planet. They have had to deal with such difficult times in Rhodes but the beaming smiles as they welcome you and can’t do enough for you, is just a credit to themselves and the Mitsis brand. Some great evening entertainment over a drink and the food well there is so much choice and different every meal time. So my advice take a trip to Rhodes and spoil yourself with a hotel that oozes class and customer service

I liked the crepe, ice cream, Mexican, burger bars in the pool area. I was unhappy with the cold outdoor pools and the cold indoor one and was not the only one, noticing how few people used them.

Nice hotel in Rhodes

Just Spent 8 nights in Grand hotel, the staff and hotel were exceptionally good, everything is near by( sea, old town, new town, shopping, restaurants etc...) Only down side is rooms and flying wasp in main restaurant:- it was awful particularly beds and room allocation for 5 star hotel, we have given 4 single bed( pair of 2), we have 2 small kids 4 &6 yr old, and they liked to sleeping with parents, but even after joining 2 beds together it is very much uncomfortable. I have spoke to reception but what I been told they made up like double bed next day, but you can not change single mattress to double.. so I left it there without any more talk on this... In main restaurant quite lot flying small wasp, and sitting on food, curtains and everything, it is really not good for such a nice restaurant....

Never a five star , good 3 at best

Food ok , location great , pool etc good , having to get up at 6:30 each day to even have a chance of getting a table at the best restaurants is not what i come on holiday to do , drinks poor , tap water in restaurants, me and partner both violently ill for 1 day not sure if food water or a bug

Lovely holiday

Fantastic hotel with very good all inclusive food options. The hotel is in a good location, and around a 25 minute walk to the town if you want to do some clothes shopping and around 35 minutes walk to the old town. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Outside of the hotel there are some local shops in the surrounding area and more bars and restaurants are in the process of being refurbished in time for summer. The only down side is that the beach is very pebbly no sand on this side of the island, but if your not too bothered about a beach this is a great hotel.

Good hotel with excelent facilities over looking the sea and near the old town

Good hotel -- rated 5* but actually a 4* in English ratings. Great location overlooking the sea and about a mile away from the harbour and old town.

August 2014, three adults

Just returned from a week at the Mitsis Grand. Hotel is good, public areas very nice but bedrooms somewhat dated though cleaned daily. Staff are excellent, extremely friendly. Food too is high quality and varied across the various dining options, can really recommend trying the two a la carte restaurants and all the poolside restaurants are great, although these close a little early (20.30) No problems getting sunbeds, be aware that the pools are saltwater. Very few issues with mosquitoes, no one seemed to be affected. Only suggestion to the hotel would be to update/improve the evening entertainment which is quite sedate, and once finished there is only very quiet music playing. Overall great holiday, Rhodes old town is beautiful, otherwise we did not venture far as we were all inclusive and the food and drink at the Mitsis were great.
