Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Bis zur Stadt hat man ca. 5-7 min und kostet mit dem Taxi ca. 11€. Das Frühstück ist Geschmacks Sache. Unseren hat es nicht getroffen und für Muslime gilt etwas Vorsicht wenn man sich etwas zubereiten lässt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meersicht und die Aussicht ist einzigartig. Aufpassen sollte man bei der Buchung der Zimmer! Wir hatten eine Juniorsuite gebucht und haben ein riesiges Zimmer erhalten jedoch aus den 50er. Das Zimmer war alt, zum teil mit Flecken auf Stühlen und Sofas und die Fenster nicht dicht, so dass man den Wind trotz geschlossner Fenster sehr gut hörte. Allgemein sah das Zimmer etwas schäbig aus, anders als auf dem Foto. Wir erfuhren erst vor Ort das die Exekutive Zimmer die renovierten Zimmer waren, diese waren aber erst ab dem 6. Stock. Wir durften zwar das Zimmer wechseln jedoch zu einem Aufpreis von 500€! Und betreffend der Sauberkeit waren wir eher unzufrieden. Lediglich das Bett wurde gemacht und die Handtücher gewechselt. Aber Müll der nicht im Mülleimer entsorgt wurde, wurde nicht weggenommen, der Boden nicht gesaugt. Die Dusch und Toiletten Kabinen nicht richtig geputzt, die wände aus Glas blieben schmutzig. Das Personal war jedoch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und trotz dieser kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten hatten wir eine unglaubliche Zeit in Rhodos und würden auf alle Fälle noch mal auf die Insel.

after having spend some days in that „so called“ 5 star hotel we like to summarise our experiences in the most honest way: - the Check in with a nice lady was efficient and well done (probably the highlight of our hotel stay) - the room was big and at the first glance clean. After a closer lock we spotted long blond hair all over the place with both of us not having blond hair at all. Furthermore we were faced with a strange smell in the bathroom which never really disappeared during our stage. According to our booking we should have received a room with double bed. We had two single beds unfortunately ! After checking with the reception they told us that the hotel has no double beds at all. The cleaning was less than average e.g. no change of bed linen when it was wettish from sweating. The long blond hair were chasing us until the end of our stay. - the hotel tour operator had not much interest to give some advise and had no clue what trips/offers were possible. Luckily we got some good advise from other guests afterwards. we booked a 5 star hotel and stayed at best in an "above average" hostel - therefore we give our friendly advice to the world: go and enjoy Rhodos BUT avoid that hotel

Die abav Lounge im 16 Stock war ein Traum. Das Personal dort war steht’s sehr hilfsbereit und unglaublich Freundlich. Bei jeglichen Fragen oder Anliegen konnten wir uns an Frau Eirini wenden, welche immer super Empfehlungen gemacht hat und stetig für uns da war. Bei Ihr hat man wirklich gemerkt das Sie ihre Arbeit liebt und Freude daran hat Gästen eine Freude zu machen. Hätte Sie uns mal länger nicht gesehen, schrieb Sie einen von Handgeschriebnen Brief ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit wäre und das sie bei Fragen immer da sei.( Empfand ich als sehr aufmerksam und eine sehr höflich Gehste ) Absolut der Hammer diese Abav2 Lounge. Sehr zu Empfehlen. Das Hotelzimmer war ebenfalls sehr schön und man hatte einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Täglich kommt das Housekeeping einmal putzen. Das mit dem Anklopfen und warten hat leider auch nicht immer funktioniert. Vor allem bei dem check-out Datum, wurden wir vermehrte Mahle im Zimmer von dem Personal Überrascht. Ebenso wurden ab und an Gästebeigaben vergessen aufzufüllen und Frotté ebenso. Kleine Kritik Punkte gehen auch an das Baar Personal welche nicht sehr interessiert waren einen guten Service abzulegen oder eher weniger grosse Freundlichkeit zeigten. Perfekte Lage um schnell mit dem Bus nach Rodos zu kommen oder an das Meer. Eher Windiger auf dieser Seite der Insel, jedoch überhaupt nicht schlimm. Sich in die Wellen zu legen war immer wieder ein vergnügen.
