Good hotel in a good location

I had a comfortable 3 night stay at the hotel over the Xmas. Was visiting my family in town , so I really needed a place where to crash and this hotel was just perfect for that. Room was clean , staff were friendly and the location of the hotel was very convenient for me - close to the Riga old town and central train station. Room had no window , but I love it , because for me personally it helps to sleep better when it’s dark in the room.

Value for money

Friendly staff, rooms could be bigger. Food was very good. Overall value for money and a good location for the old square and transport.

Excellent location in oldtown. Lot of thing to see on walking distance. Lot of good restaurats in the area. Airport bus stop is about 200 meters away.

Hotelli itsessään kiva, ihana henkilökunta. Aamupala alue/hotellin ravintola pieni alue kellarissa, aamupala ei muutenkaan ehkä ihan suomalaisen tottumuksen mukainen, kulttuurikysynys varmasti. Sviitti oli kiva, sänky todella kova mutta sai nukuttua kyllä.

Erittäin hyvä sijainti vanhassa kaupungissa hiljaisen kujan varrella. Asiallinen huone, joskin aika pieni. Huoneessa kattoikkuna, jossa ei ollut verhoja, joten aurinko herätti aamuisin klo 6, tämä iso miinus. Myös hissin kolina kuului huoneeseen turhan selvästi. Aamiainen ok.

Personnel was not making contacts to customers, but ones who could speak English were nice. We had 2 rooms, other one didn't have AC. Rooms were cramped as well as breakfast hall. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. After 3 mornings you started to wish for variation as there was none. Plus sides: good location (on the edge of old town, public transportation (tram, bus) next to hotel. Cozy environment. Low noise at night. Fridge in rooms (no minibar).
