Really lovely hotel with great access to the city

My partner and I stayed here during a 5 day stay in Rome. Upon arrival we were given a city map and told about local restaurants and amenities around the area. The hotel is slightly hidden away and so to get to local restaurants or bars it was a minimum of 15 minute walk. Some recommendations would definitely be Ultra Bar for super friendly staff and cheap cocktails €5! Use the yelp app for recommendations for restaurants. Il peperoncino dispettoso was our absolute favourite with the best carbonara in town! The facilities at the hotel were good although the pool was very small and as we stayed during peak season there were lots of school children who frequented the pool and as the area itself is small we found that laying sunbathing was quite difficult without being soaked and had to move to the grass. The restaurant was good as we ate here every morning for breakfast and also one night during our stay. The drinks here are pricey approximately €9 per drink and so we chose to drink out. There are not very many bars around the area though we found one called caffe which was lovely and intimate but nightlife was lacking. 20 minute walk to the nearest metro line which connects you with all of Rome. This was a godsend as we paid €1.50 per trip to get everywhere saving us so much money. Overall the stay in the hotel was really good the only downside being the pool area however next time we visit we will go outside of peak time

Great family break

The hotel was fabulous staff were very friendly and always happy to assist with any queries. Good location train station just round the corner and bus at the bottom of the road, also hotel laid on a bus that you could book at night for the next morning to take you to the vatacin or the city again the driver Dominico was very helpful

On arrival we were shown to a double room with a roll-up bed squeezed in between the bed and the wall. Hardly the 30 square metres triple that we ordered. Grudgingly, we were moved the next day to the room we ordered, despite their insistance that this was a quad room! Other guests we met had similar experiences. Hotel is basic and tired, not what we expected from a four star. It's a bus ride from the Vatican, the shuttle has limited capacity. The foyer is the best feature.

Aamiainen keskiverto roomalainen. WiFi toimi huonosti. Kaiken kaikkiaan kuitenkin hinta-laatusuhteeltaan kelpo hotelli.
