Great room, comfy beds, big walk in shower and excellent breakfast!! Thought the breakfast wouldn't be up to much but lots of choice of hot and cold food. Only small problem was aircon was broken in our room so was too hot at night. Staff immediately arranged a new room for us but as it was late at night we decided to stay put. For price excellent value and would thoroughly recommend!!

Sofa bed was not comfortable at all, we were 3 ppl 2 adults and 1 child but ubfortunately we all had to sleep in double bed because sofa bed spring was coming out. Rooms isolation isnt great either and we could easily hear noises from next door. There was no fridge and no usb ports in the room either. I wasnt expecting this from holiday inn

Close to location

Pros: Friendliness of staff
Cons: More choice on hot selection for breakfast
Location: We were attending a birthday party at the local golf club, so was an ideal location for the venue.
Very accommodating and friendly staff, nice and pleasant.

Overnight Stay

Room was roomy and very clean, bed was massive and comfy. Only down side was noise from traffic on road outside window and sparse with refreshments - bottled water in the room would be a good idea along with a small packet of biscuits. Overall this was a very nice stay and to find out we had breakfast included in our price (which we did not realise when booking) was an added bonus.

Basic Hotel

The hotel is basic and suitable for an overnight stay only (I stayed four nights on a business trip). There are no wardrobes to hang suites and shirts and not even one single chest of drawers to put in other garments. The bed was not comfortable (over used and in need of replacement) My first complaint was when I checked in - both the shower gel and the hand wash containers were empty (surely they should have been checked beforehand?). The room (mine was on the third floor) was cold and because the room temperature control did not work, I was given a heater. Breakfast is included in the room rate but is very basic. Because of the quality of the breakfast, I did not dine in the hotel restaurant. The reception staff could be a little more pleasant and helpful.

Good Hotel for the money

The hotel is easy to find and has free parking on site.The hotel has a reasonable entrance, quite modern and reasonable facilities. The room was basic but had everything to be comfortable. The bed was too firm but thats just our personal taste. The real negative for us was a terrible smell coming from the shower drain. We went out one night leaving the bathroom door open to the room, when we returned the smell throughout the whole room was so bad we felt physically ill. Upon complaining the staff member apologised and said they would get some one to investigate. Nothing changed and when we checked out we mentioned it again, no discount or attempt at a gesture of good will was made. We spoke to other guests who had similar issues. This put a real dampener on the weekend and has left us feeling negative about the hotel.
