Apart from being put in a standard room when we’d paid for an executive the gym is tiny pool sufficed. Covid meant no sauna or steam room. Breakfast nothing to write home about very basic and either lukewarm or over cooked. Constantly ran out of bread and pastries and even butter. Fruit was overripe, brown bananas, but waitress was lovely quite happy to get filter coffee for me rather than the Nescafé instant provided. Evening menu quite limited and wait time was long considering we ordered from our tables electronically. Location central for north wales or north Lancashire so ideal for where we wanted and close to motorways too. Room wasn’t particularly clean had partused toilet rolls and baby flies all over the window sills and cobwebs at the windows with spiders in the bathroom. Bath itself is not designed to have an adult but more of Shower size don’t get to stretch legs out ok if ur 3ft tall I expect.

all Staff superb very accommodating and pleasant. Bar was nice room was nice good shower and very comfy bed only negative if I was the phone in the room was full of dust when I rang for room service Whitchurch was again fanatic very helpful and food was tasty would definitely recommend for an overnight stay

Pleaset stay

Good hotel for the money. Cheaper alternative to one nearer Chester. Added bonus of a health club and the food in the restaurant was very nice.

Stayed one night

the whole stay was great it a great hotel with great staff also very clean .I would recommend this hotel and would stay again .

Good All Rounder

Hotel environment is very good with well equipped air conditioned rooms which are clean and tidy. Staff are all very friendly and service is very good. Only negative point is the restaurant where the food is of variable quality but generally not great. I would say that this is the only aspect that lets the hotel down as otherwise its a great place to stay.

not good

is not specified that it is located very far from train stations you have to spend too much money to go some where booked for double bed found 2 singles that can`t be moved we are a married couple payed for 2 persons and only 1 towel provied have to share last day stayed no shower gel so before we left to go back home you can`t have a shower we where in an other hotel that was very cheaper the fee and they gave us free Wi-Fi connection hear you have to pay the only thing good is the staff they where very helpful I will never go again in this hotel

Good value

Easy to find. Friendly staff. Nearer to Frodsham than Runcorn. We went to the Italian restaurant in Frodsham £5 taxi. Very good food if a bit pricey. They had a band in the bar below restaurant on Saturday night had a great time. Hotel was clean and modern. Gate crashed the Fake that tribute night. Great fun

Excellent value for money

As an overnight stop to break a long journey north this was an excellent venue, with the added attraction of Chester being just 9miles away providing an interesting afternoon diversion - both for the shops and the famous B&W houses and galleries. The swimming pool was a welcome bonus, but I was disappointed that internet access was an expensive extra as it was bundled in with films etc. - so no checking e-mails for me. The staff were exceedingly pleasant and efficient, and the evening meal and breakfast well prepared. All in all, a good start to my holiday.
