5/5 Excellent
"Conveniently located at the foot of Mermaid Street, the street you are coming to Rye for if you are a tourist, the Ship Inn is a great place to stay when visiting this charming old town. We had a wonderful Family room with two bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom. Staff was friendly and we felt very comfortable. They have a lovely dinner menu, and if you are staying for a longer time, there is a little Italian restaurant right next door for variety and another dining option. The only quirk is that if you are driving, you have to park in the park and display next to the hotel. It's free overnight. So you need to pay again in the morning or there is an option to purchase parking for the next day. A minor hassle for such a nice place to stay , though. "
