On the other hand we regret that you have not felt comfortable with the treatment received from our reception staff, we work hard to improve our customer service. Excellent location right beside Yumbo Centre with a bus stop that has a direct connection to the airport right outside. The superior rooms are well appointed in every way except for two single beds pushed together and pretty uncomfortable mattresses Pool and roof solarium are a big plus no rushing for sun beds The bar decides when to open when it likes it seems, some nights never opened at all

5th stay close to yumbo

Very close to Yumbo Centre we have stayed here at least 5 times maybe more. Always book premium room as it’s quieter and has more inclusions. This hotel is popular with LGBT clientele as it’s right next to yumbo. Great pool area, every year the hotel has something updated or added which is good to see.

Adults Only

I have stayed at this hotel many times, it's good value for money in the spring and summer months however in the winter it can be very expensive and really not worth the high premium when you can get all inclusive in other hotels for the same money. These apartments are adults only so this is a plus point for many and it's located next to the yumbo so you can expect some noise from the clubs.The staff in all departments are very friendly and helpful and they are a credit to these apartments.Will definitely be back in the spring or summer 2018 but will stay in another hotel in February as we'll get a 4 star all inclusive for the same money.

Great Location!

Hotel ideally placed next to Yumbo and a nice stroll to the beach. Rooms are comfy with everything that you need. Hotel staff are fantastic! Cleaning team are great too. Plenty of loungers around the pool area so need to rush around to find a spot. Highly recommended!! This has been our fourth visit!

Good holiday.

We stayed at the Playa del Sol as part of our annual summer holiday. This apartment hotel is very well located on the busy High Street, the busses run quite riegularly and there is absolutely no problem with taxi frequency and fares are very reasonable too. There is an abundance of good restaurants and bars in the area. The Playa del Sol backs on to an entertainment and shopping complex called the Yumbo Centre where there is a huge variety of bars and restaurants. The only drawback is the very loud coming from the bars at night which went on until well into the early hours.

We are not happy with this hotel

First of all, our first impression of the hotel was very poor. When we arrived we did not even know if we had come to the right place. It looked like the entrance to a really bad restaurant. The lobby was not welcoming, and the staff who met us was so unsure about everything. The room was okey, but the beds are horrible. We ordered one king size bed, but got to bed striped together. Our worst experience with the hotel was when a man from the restaurant downstairs demanded 60 Euros for a broken table, that we did not brake. Because we had been drinking the day before we couldnt rule this out. Then the manager of the hotel came, and said he had everything on cam. We said we would pay if he could prove to us by showing us the video. He said he could show us the video, and if we didnt pay, he would get the police, and we would be kicked out. We was frightened and scared to end up on the street so we paid. But it was an awful experience. We ordered a smoothie from the bar at the pool, but this tasted really bad. No wonder since the bartender used bags of finished products to make the drink. We cant review the restaurant since we never ate there, but for all the 9 days we were there, we didnt see anyone eating there, and there hardly any costumers at the bar. This is not even a 3 star hotel, we would never go back, and we will not recommend anyone to visit this hotel. The most positive thing we could say about this hotel is that it is very sentral, but the high music makes it difficult to sleep if your planing a quit evening.

Great breakaway

Stayed in Apartments for a week. Very spacious and comfortable. Staff in apartments were very nice and friendly, especially the cleaning staff who did not call too early in the morning! Only downside was the fact you had to pay a deposit for a remote for the TV and also pay a daily charge.
