Good hotel with minor flaws

Pros: Really nice easy location for exploring Gran Canaria, and a very pleasant hotel and staff.
Cons: We would expect our room to be serviced in the morning, but it was always left till late afternoon, drain smell in afternoon in corridors and rooms.
Location: Lots of shopping and eateries close by, and easy parking.
Good hotel with minor flaws, very nice Hotel, layout excellent, lovely rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Used by a lot of flight crews, lovely setting, well set out between restaurant & bar. We were on the 3rd floor and what was annoying was no set time for your room to be made up, always a smell of drains when we returned to our room late in the afternoon, and still had to go out while the room was made up!! when it had been empty all day! Always a towel short and had to keep asking for a replacement. Sorry to say the restaurant / bar food is not the best, well when I say restaurant, I mean the "menu of the day" so we elected to eat out locally as there are some fine restaurants around the area. Breakfast is fantastic with everything you could expect from a 4* hotel, breakfast was excellent each morning and the waiting staff were also excellent.

Convenient hotel stay

Convenient for airport stopover and near to shopping centre. Courtesy bus to the airport was easy to book. Hotel is a bit dated but fine for a quick stay.

Quick visit

I did not know what to expect but was only staying a short while so could take a chance: first impressions were of a standard business hotel - efficient but soulless - but I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and welcome of the staff who soon dispelled this. I enjoyed the stay - everybody was helpful, the amenities are fine, it is convenient for the airport and the buffet breakfast alone is worth a visit, RDU, UK

Does what it says on the can

This is an airport hotel, for dozing off long connections. It does that and a bit more. It is located within a three minute walk from a huge mall with restaurants and fast food joints, such as McDonalds (open till 2 AM) and pizza places. It is also within a five minute walk from the main fairway of the beautiful little town of Vecindario, where you can have a good coffee or shop at local stores or Marks and Spencers even! The staff are super friendly and polite, and very helpful. The breakfast is good (typical of all Spanish hotels). Room is speckless and comfy. The most important positive is the shuttle bus the hotel keeps to the airport, so you get free transport both ways -a taxi will cost 20 Euros typically- rendering as near perfect a package as one can get. No wonder I am a regular over the past six years.

Personnel très accueillant. Efficace. Chambre spacieuse. Piscine et fitness pas testés. Très pratique depuis aéroport, arrivée à minuit. Rue commerçante à 300 m. Mais vue et voisinnage sans charme.
