" Started well with the receptionist being extremely helpful booking in early so we could freshen up and dump bags in room. Nice and close to train station and good for rest of Sheffield. Room is nice, clean and not too hot with proper hangers in the wardrobe! Plug socket next to bed which is a must these days. Pool is good and the steam room great for recovery after travel. Breakfast was good although the staff had a tendency to disappear (probably not enough available) so no-one to ask to make poached eggs. Only real issue was I like to sleep with the window open and the area at the back of the hotel has a seating area that is used by people outside the hotel and they tend to sit there until 1am or so talking loudly."
