The bed was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and cheap at Crown Plaza hote's car park which was near to OYO hotel.

I was due to stay at this hotel from the 5th of Aug till the 7th of August. OYO Customer Services team called me on the 3rd around 5PM (free cancellation was till 1PM) saying the hotel is closed and they had to cancel my reservation. I came to check my reservation but it was still 'upcoming' and not 'cancelled'. Only when I went to OYO's own website it was shown as cancelled. I contacted ebookers asking them to update my booking to cancelled as I was unable to cancel myself due to the free cancellation not available anymore. They were unable to cancel without penalty even if I explained several times that I did not want to cancel but the hotel had cancelled on me. I was told to 'wait a bit' and come back the next day if the status didn't change. As I had chosen 'pay at property' option I figured I'll just leave it. Then I had to find another hotel on two day's notice which was ideal as the prices were much higher so close to the stay so had to pay more in the end to stay elsewhere. Since my stay I have been contacted by OYO via ebookers many times with different messages, some asking for review of my stay, some saying the hotel has been closed permanently, some saying apologies for the previous message.... I've lost track!! Sadly due to this experience with OYO I won't be staying at any of their properties. It is a shame as their hotels do look nice.
