Very helpful staff ,polite and courteous. Room nicely decorated but the wooden frame around the bed is massive and you have to go around the whole of the bed to get to the bathroom. Both of us hit our legs on this very sharp edge several times unfortunately. Lovely cooked breakfast for £10.00 and plentiful tea and coffee. Car park £5 a day.

Spacious room with interesting design, but lighting design did not work, there were a lot of lights but not one mirror had adequate task lighting especially the bathroom mirror. Ceiling downlights and bedside lighting were very harsh but there were a lot of dim areas ie in front of the wardrobe area, desk and mirror which were poorly lit. Also was I was surprised 25 pounds deposit needed to be deducted from my credit card during my stay, refundable if no breakages - have never stayed in a hotel which did this before . what sort of clients do they normally have ?

Reception looked nice and modern. But our room was dark and depressing, the bed had a 6 inch wood surround that we both kept knocking our knees on. Window was small so not much light.

The hotel is falling apart - needs major refurbishment. The room was clean and more less cosy but again walls need to be painted, very old doors that need to be painted and so on. In general, staff was nice but not awfully pleasing. You get what you pay for :)

Budget hotel

Pros: The lady at breakfast was lovely!
Room was small and cold, bathroom was smelly. I asked for a quiet room but it was in the middle of a noisy corridor and could also hear the bins being put out in the morning. Room only had one double plug socket tucked in the corner, next to the cupboard where the kettle was which was dangerous leaning over the kettle to change the plug.
