I liked the rural location, quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and efficient, nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was satisfactory. During our four night stay my wife and I only dined once at the hotel and the meals we selected were excellent. However, the menu selection would suit a one-off celebration perhaps but not our choice for every day, far too rich. We prefer a more traditional selection.

Very nice clean hotel located a few minutes walk to Ludlow town centre (some uphill walking). Food was excellent. Lots of car parking available.

Nice hotel with views of Ludlow castle.

Pros: Quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Nice as it is.
Location: We went to Ludlow town centre, the Ludlow food centre and Ludlow racecourse.
The hotel is within walking distance of Ludlow castle . The staff were all welcoming and professional. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a nice quiet setting with plenty of parking. Only stayed one night but will definitely stay longer next time.

Faultless small hotel Great value for money

Location: Just outside the town of Ludlow in a quiet country lane with access to beautiful walking country and a short drive to stunning views of the castle.
We arrived at this small hotel just outside Ludlow to be greeted by a charming receptionist who showed us to our light airy room, with beautifully co ordinated modern décor, well furnished with plenty of storage space, good lighting and comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean, bright and well planned with an excellent shower, well lit mirrors and shelves for toiletries. The bar area was bright and airy and again the décor was subtle and co-ordinated with attractive modern art works well displayed. The restaurant offered us an excellent menu with a choice that would appeal to every taste and an interesting and varied wine list. Our dinner was perfectly cooked with subtle flavours and textures that made it both delicious and satisfying. After a comfortable and refreshing night's sleep, our breakfast choice was excellent and the perfectly cooked toast made from home baked bread was a highlight, The whole experience was a delight!

Great hotel, ample parking, easy walk to town

Location: Easy to walk into Ludlow and easy to drive to other towns (e.g. Hereford, Shrews bury)

Ludlow Food Festival

Pros: Very good food and location
Cons: More vegitarian options
Location: Ideal for Ludlow and surrounding area. Especially the castle and river.
Hotel was only a short walk to the town over the river Teme, Nice situation overlooking allotments and rolling countryside. Great food, especially the tasting menu, nice breakfast and good wines. A very pleasant stay in a clean and vibrant hotel. Would go again, with helpful staff
