Nice pool area for city based hotel. Comfortable bedding. Reasonable club facilities though club room not the largest and fills up in the evening. Rooms on the small side.

Great location for Clarke Quay.

Pros: Location, offering Club rooms with lounge access swayed my decision over others in the area.
Location: On the doorstep of the many restaurants and bars in Clarke Quay. Hop on hop off sightseeing bus stops just over the road. Great views of the river.
We booked the Club floor rooms with access to the lounge, worth every penny. Hotel is 5 mins walk to Clarke Quay, would stay here again.

Prepare to be an annomious visitor

Booked six months in advance, paid in full with a 100% cancellation charge. Told on arrival the hotel was full and we were being moved to another venue. Not a good start and certainly not customer focused! After heated conversation they found us a room which was claimed to be an up grade to a Club room. Turned out to be identical to the deluxe originally booked, but on a higher floor. Were not given the extra amenities of the Club room. You are basically a commodity travelling through to this hotel. Location is good for Chinatown and Clark Quay.

Mixed Feelings

Not a good start. Arrived at the hotel after 12 hour flight to be told we would be transferred to a sister hotel for two of our nights and then back to the hotel for our last night due to over booking. Interesting given we booked in June, six months previously, paid in full and had a 100% cancellation fee!!! After a heated conversation given a room and told up graded to Crystal Club only to find four hours later not with the Crystal Club benefits. So in effect got the 24m room size already booked but with the added stress. Overall impression is the customer is a commodity to be used as fits the hotels requirements. Would recommend for location but little else.

Smart hotel just outside the hullaballoo of Clarke Quay

Ian at Reception was so helpful, professional and expeditiously sorted bookings, queries and room issues for my friend and I. The outdoor pool and area are lovely and just right for the hot humid days. The gym is moderate but well equipped. Easy walk to MRT station and access to Singapore; the free shuttle and their taxi service is well organised. The breakfast pancakes are 10/10! Coffee can be a bit hit-miss but the staff sort issues smoothly and quickly. Definitely recommend this and glad is wasn't too close to Clarke Quay (noisy night time area). The nearby Robertson Quay has lovely restaurants.

Good locations small rooms

Nice hotel. Great location. 2 mins to Clarke Key, 5 mins to the MRT. Very small rooms and bathroom. The beds were Ok but the pillows felt very cheap compared to a lot of hotels. The room we requested was not available, and they were painting with solvents in nearby rooms. However once in the room the aircon was effective. The pool was a fair size. Overall good value for the money paid, and would stay again.,

Excellent

FANTASTIC! wonderful hotel and excellent staff thank you to everyone. hotel in nice location near Clark Quay and about 10 mins walk to nearest MRT, the hotel does have a shuttle bus that runs at various time through the day. We had a club room, although the room was small, it was well equipped. The staff service within the Crystal Club was superb. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
