We had a relaxing break at the hotel, the staff were excellent and the building was well cared for. We enjoyed a swim in the lovely pool and relaxed on a lounger to dry off afterwards. The breakfast was yummy and served efficiently. We had dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed it. We could not fault two peaceful nights in Kent.

We stayed in tha Ashley Suite, it is everything you need fully equipt kitchen, lovely bathroom, and its all on the ground floor. A great place to stay. The food was excellent and my wife had a massage in the spa which was also excellent.....could not find a fault with anything. The staff are all very nice and helpful.....highly recommended

Have booked again already!

Pros: Staff, Staff, Staff
Cons: Breakfast process
Staff are truly versed in Customer Service and made you feel valued. Have booked again already so that tells you most of what you need to know. Only two let downs. The Hotel was in the middle of being refurbished so naturally it cant get 5 for that, but they were managing it well. However the item i would bring to their attention was the self-serve breakfast. You are politely seated and asked for tea / coffee order and eggs and toast. Then you get up to join an 12 long queue for the hot self serve items. There is only one tiny table of food with only one dish each of the items (EG bacon). The spoons are desert size so it takes you time to keep scooping to get a viable serving (EG baked beans). I'm sure its a false economy to encourage you to take less - but it does not - it just takes longer. As the dishes the items in are also small, the queue was regularly stopped as the lady had to keep going back to the kitchen for re-fills. By the time we got back to the table cold toast and eggs were waiting. Fix this process and they will be on to a winning streak!

This was a lovely setting for our short break.

Pros: comfort and hospitality
Cons: the fresh fruit option for breakfast was lovely but a little more creativity on this perhaps.
The hospitality and facilities ere just rght for our stay. The evening meal was excellent in a comfortable setting. The service was excellent. There were a couple of functions taking place at the hotel and added to the atmosphere they were not in the least intrusive to our desire for a relaxed location. Would certainly visit again as going out and about is easy from this location.
