We had a two night stay. The hotel is in a quiet part of Skegness but it was a lovely walk via the beach into town. The room was fine, we did not have any toiletries In the room but had bought our own. The staff at breakfast worked hard and were really good. The hotel is tired in places, the stair carpet leading up to the second floor in particular. The grounds are lovely and there were plenty of nice seating areas.

Avoid

We booked and paid for a king size exec room but instead we had a small double bed and a single in the room. When I checked at reception (showing the booking confirmation) the girl could not explain what had gone wrong, did not say sorry once, told me the lady who I needed to speak to was in Malta and neither she, nor anyone else there, had any authority to handle customer complaints of concerns. So I paid over £100 for a double bed out of season in Skegness. She also told me that they did not get many reservations through EbookersThe which is why she did not recognise the abbreviations of king size or exec on our booking. The breakfast and the lady in the dining room were the only redeeming features. The windows of our bedroom were single glazed and so you could hear ever word spoken by other guests who were returning in the early hours of the morning. Was assured someone would call me to discuss and of course, no one has.
