Could have been better.

Pros: Already detailed.
Cons: Air Con, shower cubicle, communication. Magic Castle Hotel nearby is a better (and cheaper) choice but they were already booked for my dates.
Location: Suited me for my purpose.
Good Points: Good choice of English speaking television channels, comfy bed, clean room hot shower, excellent WiFi, free tea/coffee. Bad points: Air con was very weak and noisy and hidden behind curtain, lots of noise from road, shower cubicle broken (had to wangle the door closed) carpets a little tired, staff didn't speak very good English, kettle was broken - tho they did replace it when asked. Worst thing was on leaving the hotel i was told i could have a late check out, subject to a charge - fair enough but then, they changed their mind and said they had a "group booking" so i had to be out with just a 30 minute notice - not a happy bunny !

Ist eines der schlechtestes Hotels was ich besucht habe. Ich hatte den Suite Room gebucht. Die Ausstattung ist alt und heruntergekommen... Stuhl wackelt in sich.. Polster durchgesassen, Badezimmer alt, teilweise eng und man Kann such sehr leicht den koof stossen, fehlende pflegeprodukte. Bett war soweit in Ordnung ausser das es keine Lichtschalter am Bett gibt Steckdosen.... Es führt nur eine schmale Wendeltreppe in den 6 Stock. Frühstück Auswahl sehr gering es gab jeden Tag das Gleiche. Keine Wärme gekochte Eier kein Rührei... Brot trocken. Internet, es läuft nicht stabil ständige gibt es Aussetzer auf der DSL Leitung sprich die vpn Verbindung bricht zusammen man fliegt aus den Firmennetzwerk raus, bei Videokonferenzen muss man sich mehrmals neu einwählen. Arbeiten so nicht wirklich möglich. Ein Check-in sollte ab 14 Uhr möglich sein , aber erst nach 15 ihr war dann letztendlich das Zimmer fertig. Room service das Zimmer wurde während meines 5 Tage Aufenthalts nicht einmal richtig sauber gemacht. Auch wenn das Hotel nur im 3 Sterne Bereich angesiedelt ist fehlen da einfach zu viele Basics um einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu haben. Wäre der Aufenthalt direkt über Best Western gebucht worden hätte ich ihn nach der ersten Nacht dort auch bereits abgebrochen. Von einer Hotelkette wie Best Western verlange ich einheitliche Standards die auch regelmäßig kontrolliert werden... Irgendwas ist in den Hotel wohl sehr schief gelaufen. Das BW Sofia Airport ist absolut in Ordnung.
