Located in Soltau, Hotel Meyn is in the city centre. Soltau Thermal Bath and Golf Club Tietlingen are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Hundestrand and Wilseder Berg. Heide-Park and Weltvogelpark Walsrode are also worth visiting.
Lovely hotel with great staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is a standard German hotel, which is what I expected. Food is amazing! I would definitely stay here again.
Central location. No lift which makes luggage a problem. Solo Traveller. Online booking did not indicate a seriously budget room with threadbare carpet and old mattress. Characterful hotel and nice staff but amenities a bit poor.
The hotel overall was decent. The location was great, in downtown of Soltau & minutes to Heide Park. The hotel was clean & the room as well. However, as a non smoker the rooms reeked of stale cigarettes from all the smokers throughout the years which made the rooms quite unpleasant & uncomfortable...
Fint ældre hotel med god service.
Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber (ein paar Ecken in der Dusche wurden aber leider übersehen). Das Bad war sehr schön, nur etwas klein.
