The hotel is to the south west part way up the hill on the road towards Positano. We took a taxi there, but they run an hourly free shuttle into the town centre. The hotel is clean and friendly with awesome views across the bay towards Naples and Vesuvious. There is a footpath directly opposite the hotel that can take you down to the edge of the town. We enjoy walking but with a very break & limited time we didn't try it. Reception were very helpful each day with tips on where and how to get to places, weather, ferries, buses etc As we were out every day we only had breakfast there. The view is stunning across the sea towards Naples and Mount Vesuvious. We used our short, out of season winter break to explore both the hotel, the town and surrounding area with a view to coming back with friends late summer when not to hot. We'd 100% be sure to re-book this hotel, and of course in the late summer / early autumn, make us of the pool too.

Impossible to get to Sorrento without the Shuttle

Lovely Lauren on reception was so helpful. Overall the staff were pleasant. Breakfast a little disappointing and felt minimum effort made as not yet full summer season .

Lovely hotel but very very noisy . There was a constant banging sound that started every morning around 7.30 am and lasted an hour or so. The room itself was fine we had an apartment type room with a separate living space which was great for space . You can hear every person around you walking up and down the tiled floors and doors banging. Wasn't a major issue as we were up early and out by 9 every morning but might put people off in future . Staff were lovely, rooms were spotless .

great hotel to stay

great location outside Sorrento, well connected with shuttle bus, great view over the bay on Naples and the Vesuvio, there is a great lounge area with books to read, nice bar with stunning view over the sea, stuff is very friendly and adds greatly to the nice restaurant which offers delicious meals with nice ambiente

Oikein mainio hotelli ja hienot maisemat

Pros: Kokonaisuus toimi mainiosti.
Location: Sijainti oli ehkä noin kolmen kilometrin päässä Sorrenton keskustasta, mutta hotellin järjestämät kuljetukset keskustaan toimivat hyvin.
Oikein myönteinen kokemus. Hyvää palvelua, miellyttävä huone, aamiainen oikein runsas ja mainio. Kuljetukset Sorrenton keskustaan toimivat hyvin ja niitä oli riittävästi. Kävelyreittikin keskustaan oli käytössä, kuljimme sen ja se oli kyllä kokemisen arvoinen. Netti toimi ongelmitta, samoin huoneen ilmastointi.

Hotelli mahtavalla näkymällä

Pros: Hotelli oli kaikin puolin hintansa arvoinen. Näkynä, henkilökunta, palvelut. Lisäksi oli vielä vähän asiakkaita, joten oleskelu oli miellyttävää.
Cons: Vaikea löytää mitään negatiivista, jollei sellaiseksi lasketa, että isossa sängyssä on yksi iso peite, kun on tottunut omaan peittoon.
Location: Hotelli sijaitsee muutaman kilometrin päässä Sorrennon keskustasta korkealla, joten näkymät ovat huikeat.

Viihtyisä hotelli hienoilla näkymillä

Location: Teimme päivän retket Napoliin, Caprille ja Amalfi rannikolle. Pompei jäi tällä kertaa väliin, koska olemme käyneet siellä joskus aiemmin.
Viivyimme viikon verran tässä korkealla mäellä olevassa hotellissa, josta on hienot näkymät alas Sorrentoon ja Napolin lahdelle ja Vesuviukselle. Hotellilla on kuljetus tunnin välein alas kylään ja takaisin. Laadukas ravintoja ja viihtyisä allasbaari. Allasalue on aika pieni, mutta kaikissa hotelleissa ei ole allasta lainkaan. Asuimme erillisrakennuksessa, johon kuljettiin hauskasti puutarhan läpi. Erillisrakennuksen näkymät ovat hieman rajoittuneemmat, mutta muten ihan hyvät.
