John at the reception desk was very welcoming and accommodating when we booked in and was very informative. John is an asset to your hotel. Room was well presented and clean with all the necessary commodities. The only down side was that we found the double bed somewhat on the small side (we are NOT large adults). First class breakfast served by very friendly staff.

I booked the grand after looking at the photo's of the rooms etc. On arrival I found the receptionist wasn't very thorough explaining what she needed a credit card for and had to ask a few times untill I understood what she meant. When we got to the room it was so much smaller than I thought. And not as nice looking as in the pics. Crumbs/bits all over the carpet. Found a pair of rolled up socks in wardrobe and other socks in a gap under the wardrobe. A nail sticking out of the wood surrounding the door. Bathroom was very clean and beds clean and comfortable. Did complain about room size as on line doesn't give you an option to choose room. Would of been happy to pay for larger room. Had 2 glasses of cava bought to the room as an apology. Also ordered cards from moonpig to be delivered to hotel as it was my partners birthday while staying there. They were sent from moonpig twice but hotel say they never received them. Food was very nice and all other staff in hotel and bar were brilliant. If you don't want to be woken up early ask for a room away from entrance of corridor as the door constantly opening will wake you very early!

Great value, hard to fault

Pros: Clean, great value for money
Cons: Warn customers to keep their windows closed on Tuesday mornings - noisy bin collection at 05:10!
Location: Railway station adjacent, and city centre in walking distance - ideal!
Recently re-furbished room, clean & comfortable, and at a fair price. Sadly, they have no parking, but it is just a few minutes to the multi-storey, at £5 overnight.

Average

Average hotel, set in one of the grubbier parts of town. They've done a decent job renovating it (used to be a tip) but it's still a bit rough round the edges. Staff were friendly and check-in was hassle free. No plug in the sink though. The bar was expensive (for Swansea) and, despite there being screens all over the place, they were all showing Sky Info channel 999, so not very entertaining
