Advertised as in room accessibility, however this hotel does not have a single in room accessible toilet and bath/shower. I clearly requested such and said I had a disability, to which they confirmed booking. On arrival I was given a bog standard room and the hotel confirmed violation of the disability act in stating no single room in the entire hotel had in room accessible facilities. They point blank refused to refund me so I could at least go elsewhere to at least have a decent shower. Stuck in this hotel, I attempted with great struggle to shower and ended up falling. I ended up spending a fortune due to short notice booking for an alternative hotel McDonald Botley Park Hotel which was excellent by the way.

Georgia and Jo in the Spa were amazing and helped us have a great visit including sorting issue with afternoon tea and providing excellent treatments.

The hotel is very dated and in dire need of updating and general repairs. The bathroom had mould around the bath and the prongs on the hot tap were broken off.

There were wasps in my room, dirty bathroom, dated, poor value for money, depressing, relying on the name and outside look to portray quality when infact it is extremely run down. Staff looked like they were dressed from the 70’s. Parking badly sign posted. No offer option for breakfast when I booked. Would much rather stay at a local pub eg the crown. Stay over and you may learn a thing or two about customer experience. Could go on but think this is enough for you to work on. 👍

Very old and faulty furniture. Staines and dust overall. Building is very old and in very need for repair....

Value for money.

Pros: Cosy and nice athmosphere, good service at reception and bar.
Cons: Breakfast service need to be more attentive.
Location: Next to Southampton with a lot of possibilities.
This a hotel that I am travelling to for many years now, always reliable.
