£10 parking?!! I book this place because it was showing breakfast included till i get at the hotel and they ask me to pay more. I'll get free parking and breakfast at other hotels..NEVER again

Central location with parking available(at an extra cost). Staff pleasant, & room very adequate( although carpet could do with updating).Buffet breakfast adequate.

Severe lack of sleep due to party goers

Pros: Very little, felt like I wasted my money when I could have just sat in the Ferry Terminal and got more sleep.
Cons: Have a quiet floor, actually act on guests complaints
I booked the hotel because I had to be away early and I live on the Isle of Wight. Unfortunately I was put on a floor with a number of rooms full of young adults obviously going on a night out. At half 9 I felt like I was in the middle of a nightclub with music blasting from both next door and the room opposite me. I called reception and they said they would get security to deal with it. An hour later the music, shouting and banging doors continued. I wasn't expecting them to be silent but to be allowed to have the music up so loud with nothing being said to them wasn't fair. Went back to reception to be told that Security don't start until 11pm - Not everyone staying in a hotel is going out, some people have to be up early or have kids but it really felt that this hotel didn't care about that. Once the last 'party goers' finally went out at gone 11pm I thought I could finally get some sleep. That was until they started coming back from 2am onwards, shouting, slamming doors, laughing, the normal drunk behavior. This went on until 4am when I had finally had enough and went out to ask them to be quiet, I had to be up at 5am. Not really sure what Security do in that hotel but certainly wasn't making sure everyone was quiet. Why doesn't the hotel separate guests on different floor depending on what they are there for (late night / early rising)like other hotel chains do? I would never stay there again as felt once they had your money they didn't care if you only got 3 hours sleep
