Beautiful hotel with great pool and spa. Only thing I would say is the hotel room was a slightly dusty but bathroom was spotlessly clean

No vibe, huge central area unused in evening, no main restaurant in hotel, only a small Italian in the corner hotel room had only 2 ordinary teabags and no fresh milk, toilet lid made of plastic, no live entertainment, grounds very boring, no footpath down to the restaurant at the clubhouse, horrible 'communist; looking lights on road. Cooked breakfast not hot enough. First ever stay in 5 star hotel paying £190. DISAPPOINTING

Overwhelmingly expensive for drinks & food. I don’t understand why they want to charge a second time for breakfast if you want room service. A tray charge, yes, but a second charge for food? I complained & had a whole £12 refunded. Would definitely not stay again. £17 for a club sandwich? Seriously?

Not the 5 star experience we were expecting! On arrival our room was not ready, we were a little early for check in so no problem. However receptionist seen this as an opportunity to upsell us to a suite! £60 instead of £120. We declined, if your going to upgrade due to room not ready don’t try to charge for it! We were however given drinks voucher whilst we wait, so off to bar we went, I opted for g&t , sorry you can only have beer wine tea or coffee with voucher?. G&t would have been about the same price as wine. Get our room about 40 mins later, our luggage had not arrived. We were only our room for 10 minuntes when another couple walked in using their pass card they had been given. They and my husband head to reception, I receive apologetic call, no harm done really but Not great ,apparently our luggage had been taken to room above us. Poric the waiter In La cucina restaurant was excellent and very attentive, a highlight in a mediocre experience. In general hotel was nice, concierge was good facilities good, we just felt let down by whole experience., and didn’t feel was value for money given service levels.
