Nice hotel cllose to beautiful lake

Pros: The communal parts were bright and airy, and the restaurant food was very good. Great location near the lake.
Cons: We thought that more kitchenette facilities - toaster/plates/cutlery - would be useful. The room had an extra single bed, which restricted the space.
Location: Great walks around the lake. Amazing views from the beach. Eels and ducks were good fun!
Very warm informative welcome. We stayed there for 2 nights. A lovely stream-side walk from our room down to the lake where there were numerous well signed tracks. We loved taking a bottle of chilled wine down to the jetty to watch the sun go down. Both evenings we ate in the restaurant (there was limited choice elsewhere). Pizza was really good, as was the lamb shanks - good value for money. The only shop at the service station was expensive.
