2017 23:28 If this acumination is typical 3 star standard, I will never stay at less than a 4 star in the future. The hotel boast "Free self parking", 5 spaces to accommodate the 8 rooms / staff and outsiders using the bar. On entering the premises, it was evident that the decor was not to a professional standard. This continued in the bar / up the staircase / into our room & in the dining room at breakfast. When we entered our room we were not able to lock it behind us, I therefore jammed a chair under the handle. The room may had been refurnished, however no attention had been paid to the ceiling where paint was flacking and water stained. The woodwork had been painted over previous flacking paint / cracks and runs. In the bathroom there was pipes and electrical sources from items previously removed still sticking out of the floor. There was mould / stains in both the silicone and goute. The cleaner had left two of the windows open to freshen the room, it took me 10 minutes to close. We settled to watch the television, but had to close the blind due to the sun only to find that it had been stuck together with selotape. The volume on the television has to be increased during the evening due to noise coming from the bar, I found that the FIRE DOOR to the third floor had been wedged open and I therefore removed the wedge (only to find that the wedge had been later  replaced). It had been a warm day, but later turned cold however when turned on the radiators did not work. Once
