Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for letting us know about your stay with us. I am so sorry if providing your photo ID to the hotel was inconvenient. We DO required a valid photo ID for any and all guests to be presented to the front desk before we allow them to check in. This is something that we MUST do when verifying our guests and verifying payment information. Checking into a hotel is much like flying, a photo ID must be checked when you register at ANY hotel in Florida. Again, I am so sorry for the inconvenience. It's too bad your nephew couldn't have brought it to you while you waited at the hotel. Thank you for understanding security issues regarding all guests who stay with us. Have a Great Day
