Free parking was the best bit. But no WiFi in the rooms and the tv was a 12” screen. Cheap stay worth it but other than that not. Walking to your room is a nightmare with no lift

Very bad experience. Really bad rooms and toilet wasn't clean at all even we ask them to clean but they just did the bedding.

I stayed in Stockport for work, I got to the hotel after working a 12 hour shift and asked if there was anywhere I could get food. I the gentlemen said: ‘at the bar’ but I didn’t know if that was meals or snacks or if they had a restaurant or wether I had to book a meal with my room or any thing anyway he wasn’t very helpful and I didn’t have the energy to ask more questions so I just went to bed. The room was freezing, there was no window lock- I was staying on the bottom floor with my bed facing a car park people walking past all night, the unlocked window made me feel uneasy, I didn’t sleep well at all. There was no shampoo/body wash left so I couldn’t have a shower. I ordered take out and was told I couldn’t borrow a knife and fork? I know it’s only little things but the place is outdated and dingy, I was only there a few hours as I had work early the next day so I didn’t really have the energy or time to complain to be honest. £35 is too much to pay for sleeping in a cold dingy unsafe room. I’d like to say also that the woman who checked me out Monday morning was very lovely.

Corridor smelt of cigarettes. Temperamental lights in the bedroom. Loud squeaky floor boards from the room above. Leaking shower to the extent we had to pad the floor with towels. Shouting from 2 rooms down for 2 hours. Wrappers and filth behind the bedside cabinets. Dirty carpet. Pillows were flat and useless. Not worth £49.00 at all. We will be attempting to get our money back.

Friendly hotel staff.

Stay most weeks due to work and always find a friendly face on reception what ever time I check in at. Good clean room. Fast check in. Some people expect the Hilton for Britannia prices !! Keep up the good work

You get what you pay for

Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Everything especially cleanliness.
There are basics any hotel should get right. I'd expect friendly reception staff, a clean room and reasonable ambience in the hotel bar are pretty straightforward to get right. Non of that at the Britannia. Worst of all was finding pubic hairs dangling from cobwebs under the taps. The worst hotel I've stayed in in decades.

Very Close to Mancheater

a budget Hotel, Good for one night we staued there as a family 3 people ina room where the room.was b8g having four bed in it one double and two single beds overall good experience for a night stay under 50 poumds
