Great trip

Great location and accommodation ... Could have improved by couple of comfy chairs as wellas sofa bed ... And free wifi for more than one device ... Found that very restrictive but would return

Average overall

Room fine, inside access to rooms at best quirky. I have stayed at a converted jail in Oxford that was more pleasant. The pool was not in use, the Internet not the best by any stretch. The worst bit of our stay was the appalling view from our bijou balcony. About 10 meters away was a car park wall that was painted a drab brown colour that extended for many meters either way and vertically for ever. Sunlight does not penetrate this far.

Good location

This is an apart hotel. Initial studio on floor seven rear, was poor with very little natural light. Moved to floor ten and completely different. Natural light and recently refurbished studio, this studio was brilliant.

Couldn't be better

Everything was perfect. Every possible amenity in our apartment, even down to washing powder and tea- towels, replaced every day. Wonderful view over Darling Harbour. Really central. Quiet and perfectly clean. Staff always friendly, courteous and helpful, but unobtrusive. We were delighted. The only downside was waiting for the lift, which could take quite a while at busy times.

Inexpensive hotel near Darling Harbour

The hotel has seen better days. It was a wool warehouse from 1896until a fire in 1935. It was refurbished after the fire and converted into a hotel in 1955. The interior resembles a clean prison block but it is not unpleasant, just a quirky appearance. The pool and spa area is good. It is about ten minutes walk from Darling Harbour and very good value. No ramps for disabled people.
