This property is NOT a hotel!! It is a bar with outdated, stale smelling and abismally unclean rooms attached to the rear. The arrangement of the room is ridiculous, the room is an L shape and looks like the bunk beds placed there were an afterthought squashed in, which were very rackety and squeaky. On the junior bed and bunkbed mattresses you could feel the springs when sitting on them! When shown the room by the owner, who was welcoming she advised the music fro the bar would not go on any later than half 12! It was night club volume and I had two children aged 4 and 5! The 'hotel' claims to be family friendly!! Not with that volume of music it isn't!
With the cleanliness of the room alone we could not stay here and had to fork out another £95 for another hotel as we were 165 miles away from home, I will never again look anywhere else than the Holiday Inn as we had booked for the rest of our stay due to previous service we received from them back in March, they are outstanding! The Colin Grazier Hotel cannot ever get cleaned, it makes my skin crawl just thinking about staying in a bed there! I couldn't even use the toilet even though I was desperate it was disgusting, please look at the photos I will upload, the shower had black dirt and slime in the base, the sink was unclean as the toilet was. The bed underneath were rotten, thick dust and unclaimed toys/ empty bottles, behind the drawers there was half eaten biscuits and a dummy!! Also refused to refund me! Disgusting!
