Excellent location, quiet, spectacular views,

Pros: The views, the position and great variety at breakfast. Welcoming staff at reception and pool.
Cons: Accessable electric points in bedrooms.
Location: Close to everything but easy to get away from the crowds.
Great location, with spectacular views and immaculately clean. Very short walking distance to cable car, town centre and coach station. We arrive from Syracuse by train, €20 by taxi to hotel as train station is at the bottom of the hill so if travelling by public transport from another city, best to go by coach. Otherwise, trains in Sicily are very comfortable and good way to see the country despite most guide books recommending coach travel.

Alter Kasten, war sicher mal eine gute Adresse heute aber ganz sicher keine 4 Sterne wert. Aussicht und Lage super, Personal freundlich, Einrichtung abgewohnt, Frühstück-Buffet unbrauchbar.

Hotelli hyvillä näköaloilla

Pros: Ystävällinen henkilökunta, siisti, hyvät näköalat.
Cons: Tiedotusta, että merenrantaan on vaijeaa päästä.
Location: Paikka on rauhallinen, ei liikenteen melua, vaan linnunlaulua. Kävelyretkiä ja paikallisbussilla retkiä lähiympäristöön. Retki Etnalle.
Merenrantaan pääsi vain bussilla. Köysihissi huollossa.

Hieno matka

Tyylikäs vanha hotelli, joka istuu hienosti luontoon ja ympäristöön. Upeat maisemat ja säätkin suosivat matkaamme. Liikenne on hyvin rajua ja vaaratilanteita syntyi. Lopuksi auton palautus tuotti ongelmia, koska ei ollut kunnon opasteita ja liikenneruuhka aiheutti kiireen lentoasemalla.
