We chose to stay here because it was very convenient for the ferry, but it would be well worth going out of your way for. The room was quite plain, but comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had an evening meal which was well cooked and nicely presented, at a reasonable price considering the poor exchange rate of the pound at present. The main serving staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the view of the harbour lights with boats going backwards and forwards was quite magical. Breakfast was of good quality with a fair variety. Being a Sunday, it was obviously a locals meeting place for coffee. Although they were in an adjacent room, the doors were open, which made for a good atmosphere. A very enjoyable, if brief stay.
