Nice hotel with lovely staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. The general areas of the hotel have become old and tired and there are areas around the Hotel especially the pool areas which require maintenance and upgrade. The standard of food has also dropped since our last stay two years ago. The lifts are very creamy and don’t open on a level floor and the sun beds need to be cleaned as a priority as they are very grubby. The ‘false grass’ areas around the pool of the hotel also need replacing as they do t appear to be ever cleaned. Generally the hotel is nice and clean (internally) with friendly staff but the general condition of the pool area has degraded and the standard of food has dropped.

Great hotel in a great location

Location: Great location, straight onto the beach and walk way. Very well kept.
Had a lovely week. Room very spacious, cleaned daily, the photos of the room shown on web site was exactly what we got! (previous experience has shown hotel rooms never match up to the photos seen when booking) Would opt for a sea view room next time though. All hotel staff really helpful. All inclusive really good. Good food and drink with some nice little additions like the chocolate fondue, which was great for the kids (and adults!) good choice-some things repetitive but that's to be expected. Good evening entertainment. We did feel the children overpowered the evenings and sometimes distrupted the adult show. The children were built up with their entertainment, which was followed straight away by the adults show. It is unrealistic to expect the children to calm down immediately for the acts. This does need to be looked at. Maybe having adult/children's entertainment in different areas? We did see a lot of couples of all ages just wanting to chill out and instead having kids running around them screaming. You do expect to have lots of children in an all inclusive, and they should be able to enjoy themselves, but the couples do need some consideration in the evenings too! It's such a shame because the Sol Lanzarote is a fantastic hotel for everybody, it just needs a little tweaking in the evenings. This review is intended as helpful feedback and not a complaint! We had a great week and we found the hotel excellent. Thank you

Short break holiday

Nice hotel in excellent location. Fresh grilled food and variety was good value for money. Reception staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Beware of all inclusive as this includes limited drinks. Bike hire and other activities are at a cost unlike other all inclusive locations that I have stayed. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable trip.

Great beachfront location

Stayed for a week on all inclusive basis. Hotel is 5 minutes from airport so best to get a taxi outside airport instead of coach transfer. It's no more than €15. The hotel sits directly facing the beach which is great as you can take your drinks down and not to far to get top ups or go to the toilet. Only downside is that the sun loungers on the beach are €12 for 2 people each day. It would Be better if the hotel had beds on the beach for guests to use as the pool is very busy and this would create a more pleasant atmosphere around the pool. Food in the hotel is good. We had breakfast, lunch and snacks each day but went out for dinner as it's much the same as lunch so it makes a nice change. It's very reasonable eating out (about€12 for a sirloin meal). Drinks were good too. Although it was local drinks it was still of good quality. You can upgrade to a premium drinks all inclusive for an additional €12 per day, which is great value even if you only have a few drinks each day! Rooms in hotel are very big and have 2 single beds in the room as well as a sofa bed. Decorated modern and fresh and have a microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom is big with a large bath with shower and complementary shower gel. The room was attended to each day and cleaned & tidied. I would go back to this hotel no problem as it had all that it said it had.

Short break away

The place has been refurbished since we were last there. Average age was probably 70 as it's very good for mobility scooters. Food was abit repetitive but always well presented and cooked. Downside was the length of the queue at the bar on a night if you were in all inclusive- 1 barman. Ok for 5 days.

Nice Family Trip

Stayed with our twin boys (3.5 yrs old) and had a good time in Sol Lanzarote. Positives 1. Location 2. Access to beach and Matagorda 3. Decent size room Negatives 1. Not much option for vegetarians (my wife suffered due to lack of food options) 2. Entertainment area shabby. Need some quality refurbishment 3. Food options in the buffet pretty much the same everyday which becomes mundane

great December getaway

really enjoyed our stay int his hotel, had a 4 night stay in december, foot was excellent, staff were very friendly, reception a little slow, took a long time to check in, even though everything was pre paid. Food and entertainment were excellent, very clean hotel right on the beach, would stay again.
