Family stop over

Let's cut to the important bit.....would we stay again? The short answer is yes, based on cost, bed comfort, good parking, and reasonably good service. Was it perfect and the answer most definitely was no - we had two rooms, one of which didn't have working heating, no pillow on one of the beds, and no remote for the TV. The other room had a very bad drains smell from the bathroom and no bath towels. But, a quick trip to Reception solved the pillow/towels problem, my wife put up with the drain smell as she couldn't face re-packing/moving, and I personally like a cold room to sleep in, so as good as sorted! The only real problem which I didn't find at all acceptable was a lack of hot water in the morning, meaning cold showers all round! Not how I would have wanted to start the day, but at least the breakfast was plentiful and everything you would expect of a typical Continental spread. The Receptionist at check-in was great, very friendly and helpful. The change of staff for check out wasn't quite as forthcoming with the charm(!) and even remarked that there was no problem with the hot water when she had her shower.....at 6am!! Naturally, we were delighted for her! It wasn't proactively offered, but we asked if she would consider a gesture towards the water issues we suffered and we received a 50 reduction for breakfast (or 20 Euros to be precise). So, we came away reasonably happy with the overnighter and we won't hesitate to stay again, but we will set the alarms next time for 5am to ensure we can get clean in comfort!

Au mileu d une zone industrielle, accueilli froidement a 12h15 alors que le mail de confirmation precisait que les chambres etaient disponible a partir de 12h. Personnel debordé au petit dejeuner : reapprovisionnement aleatoire a 9h00 En revanche chambre propre, bien equipee

Cons: Détartrage du tuyau de douche et fermeture de la douche car la salle de bains se retrouve inondée. Horaires du hamam à élargir le soir

Teleurstellend geheel

Het hotel ziet er perfect uit, is schoon en heeft een extra aantrekkelijk interieur vanwege een heuse racewagen en items uit de autosport. Maar, het hotel werd gerund door 1 jonge dame gedurende mijn tweedaagse verblijf. In de vooravond gaan binnen de rolluiken naar beneden en is de enige keus je hotelkamer met televisie en alleen Franse zenders. Daarbij komt dat het hotel gelegen is in een industriewijk waar NIETS maar dan ook NIETS te doen is. Weinig lol aan dus. Er is wel een hele grote Carrefour supermarkt in de buurt en een McDonald maar dat biedt ook geen vertier. De verblijfskosten had ik vooraf, bij boeking betaald. Toen ik de ontbijtjes en locale belasting wilde afrekenen bij vertrek beweerde de immer appende jonge dame dat ik het verblijf NIET betaald had. Ik kreeg nog een grote mond ook en ze bleef volharden. En daar sta je dan! Ik toonde haar mijn boekingsformulier en liet haar in mijn ING app kijken om te bewijzen dat ik betaald had. Pas toen ik een grotere mond opzette droop zij af! Ik zei dat ik alleen betaslde voor ontbijt en belasting. Uiteindelijk ging zij akkoord. Ondanks een mooie schone kamer een leuke entourage en een goed ontbijt een grote afknapper. Wat ook de eerste avond gebeurde was dat mijn partner naar buiten ging om iets uit de auto te halen. Naar binnenvgaan met de keycard kon niet meer. De deur bleef hermetisch gesloten! Dit overkwam gelijktijdig een ander stel. Na langdurig roepen hoorde haar partner haar schreeuwen en moest hij naar beneden om de deur te ontlocken. Het bedienkastje zit op heuphoogte naast de deur en iedere lolbroek die langsloopt kan via een simpel pictogram de deur locken zodat deze van binnen en buiten niet meer open kan. En hulp? Vergeet het maar. Geen personeel en alleen industriele bedrijven om je heen. En als je telefoon op je kamer ligt dan heb je mooi pech!
