Good sea view from Balcony. Matteress was very poor quality. Now a days even budget hotels have better mattress.

A wonderful hotel in superb location, the third time we have stayed there with our friends. This place has an elegance, perhaps of a bygone era. Sublime views of the wraparound bay, all the way to Berry Head. The sound of whistling wind coming through a pipe in the bathroom made us feel that we were on a ship at sea, felt cosy and close to the elements- in a nice way! The only thing we felt could be improved would be the addition of a few biscuits in the tea/ coffee making tray- nice for when coming in after a night out in Torquay! otherwise, all great.

Booked a comfort room. Bed was up against the wall so had to climb over my wife to use the bathroom have not experienced the bed being up against the wall before. Could not use the balcony as was locked off for repairs and the safe did not work. All in all did not consider this value for money. Very disappointed and did not contribute to enhancing our first trip to Torquay.

Position and views from hotel are amazing.. dinner service so slow, 2hrs 15mins for a 3 course meal..but on the plus side, amazing views from restaurant and with a bottle of wine, who minds!
