Delightful hotel with old world charm

The Aarberg is easily found just over the river bridge from Interlaken and a 5min walk from the Interlaken west train station. Perfect views from room 7, lovely helpful staff who carried my case up to 3rd floor room for me (no lift). Breakfast was basic continental (sliced meat, cheese, bread, yogurt, cereals, juice and hot drinks individually made) and I would have liked a little salad to go with it. No patries, but that is fine by me. For a 3 star reasonable cost hotel in this location I thought it was excellent value and a perfect choice.
