Ordering coffee or omelettes at breakfast took ages. parts of the room had dust.

Good location. Hotel ferry very useful. Not happy with some of the services - no free complementary water after first day, questioned multiple times before being lent an umbrella. If I am pay 300+ per night, you would expect a five star hotel to be able to provide some of the above services.

Fab stay

Lovely hotel. Larger rooms than normal for Venice. Lovely to be slightly out of the hustle and bustle but easily able to get into the centre on the shuttle bus.

Different architecture

Pros: charming
Cons: how about indoor pool, opening spa facilities complimentarily.
Location: Far from the madding crowd.
Clients note that the hotel has no complimentary spa facilities. The rooms are randomly numbered and wiith corridors which are like a maze, guests will get lost very easily. Pool is not open for 5-6 months a year.

We had a number of issues... 1) we booked for swim pool due to arthritis. Many had booked as they had kids, to also use pool. The hotel however had rented it out all day for a private party. They closed it another day after a rain shower and even though it was not raining any more failed to re-open it as it would have meant mopping the edge of the pool. Pool when it does open has consistency of warm syrup (you cant for example see the bottom so hate to think whats in it). 2) Breakfast at 15euros was average at best and better croissants for 1 euro 100m away on the water front on way to vaporetta 3) courtesy boat to San Marco full and could not get on so best to ignore 4) Room not cleaned one day at all 5) Room was huge and bed lovely and big but only one bedside lamp - presumably only one of you allowed to read This is probably a good hotel if you get it on a deal (we paid full price) but if not, then one to ignore in our opinion as many are better placed location wise and simply better. We stayed in another round corner from San Marco at same sort of price and there was simply no comparison. The general manager is super however, but his hands seemed tied by his superiors and pbt on things like pool opening. He seems to be able to sort things out that no-one else can. So OK hotel but not worth the (full ) price. Wifi was down as well and even though full price was high, then additonal fee for room wifi (which then did not work). Restaurants above ave price and had a great salad on roof top average meal in the poshest restaurant. Would skip everything other than roof top which has a great view in the evening.

Three stars hotel not 5 star

I booked junior suit for 7 nights, but they gave me family room as upgrade , because they haven't got junior suit , I didn't like it, I asked for city view, they asked for 200 euro extra per night, I agreed to pay extra 200 euro but they change their mind and the manager said we can't do upgrade because they will sell it for about 500 euro per night because of the new year firework, The room ; slow drainage in the shower, they don't chane the bedding sheets every day then I asked the manager then he said they change the sheets every 4 days, The shuttle service ; there is always long waiting for the boat to cross, and at evening the average waitng time for the boat to cross is 45-60 minutes in freezing weather , No swimming pool although it was winter but there was no access to top floor swimming area to see the view, Most of the staff are not helpful and not welcoming ,

Ideal hotel, especially in Venice, but away from the crowds

Wonderful hotel, well worthy of the Hilton brand, with good facilities. My only reservation was regarding the attitude of the manager, Erika, (via email), following a problem we had. Her attitude left much to be desired, but fortunately, the slack was picked up by the Hilton Head office here in the UK, and all was settled. You cannot go wrong with this hotel, if you like cleanliness and good service. It is also located on a separate island, away from the hustle bustle of Venice island. A free shuttle from the hotel to Venice island and back of course, is available, no booking required. Highly recommended.

Location perfect, nice and relaxing and away from the mad busy centre, regular transfers across to Venice were easy and quick.... You must have a view of Venice from your room it was amazing to see, the room was perfect, large kind bed and was very comfy Overall just an amazing hotel in a perfect city
