Near a train station, Hotel Cris is in a walkable area with good shopping. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Grand Canal and Giardini della Biennale, while Peggy Guggenheim Museum and Ca' Rezzonico are cultural highlights.
Great little hotel in Mestre. Nice staff and fast wifi and great location near the train station. Quiet and lovely!
We stayed in Mestre rather than Venice proper due to price of lodging and were glad we did. The bus stop to Venice was right around the corner from Hotel Cris, and the hotel receptionist (Anna) was extremely helpful in getting us acclimated. We were also pleased to learn that parking was right at the hotel and behind locked iron gates. The hotel is not fancy, but we found it comfortable and breakfast was included. We would recommend that anyone who has their eyes trained on the bottom line stay here. One final note: We were traveling to Mestre from Cortina d'Ampezzo, and the highway signage practically led us right to where we needed to be.
The staff are very friendly. The location is not far from train station. Bus to Venice is close by. The breakfast time is a bit late starting from 7:30am. Would be ideal if it can start at 7:00am. Also air cond was not available during the period that we stayed.
The support from the property staff was excellent. Good breakfast.
Very clean and safe. The property has a gate and if I was a single woman or had kids I would feel they were verry safe. I thought the area was great because its by the train and bus. The people that worked there were great. I would stay there again
