The hotel is very well situated near to St Marks Square and other attractions. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful dealing with any queries. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would use again on a return visit.

Excellent stay

Very close to st Marc's square, good location. Hotel was very nice and modern! Good choice at breakfast! Staff very helpful as they answered all my email enquirys! Would definitely recommend!!! Venice also a beatiful and amazing place!

excellent location.

the staff is nice and committed, the rooms are confortable in size and very clean. I would only suggest the hotel to upgrade their breakfast quality . The coffee is not good, which is sad in Italy .

Great Location

A great location and only 5 minutes walk from all of the great sites without having all the hustle and bustle of the tourists. Our room (107) 1st floor was spotless. think this is one of the small rooms but big enough for us. A small little terrace looks over the canal. Breakfast was continental, fruit, ham, cheese pastries etc. This was enough to fill you up for the day. Only disapointment was that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. But we found out that this was the norm for Italy.

Excellent séjour. Personnel accueillant, disponible, attentif et agréable. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. La salle de bain de notre chambre disposait d’un vrai sèche-cheveux (ce qui n’est pas négligeable lorsqu’on a les cheveux longs) L’hôtel est très bien situé mais tout de même au calme. Il nous a été possible de laisser nos bagages avant de disposer de la chambre et après l’avoir rendue.

Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Sauberkeit ist sehr gut. Etwas hellhörig. Frühstücksbuffet sehr klein, nicht gut aufgefüllt.

Ruhige Lage, sehr freundliches Personal. Das Hotel Schild ist nicht auf den ersten Blick ersichtlich. Darum kann es etwas schwierig sein, das Hotel zu finden.
