The hotel is in a great location, it’s half way between Rialto and St Marks square, both are just a short walk away. The hotel is situated in a main walk way between both of these with lots of restaurants and shops on the doorstep. The hotel itself is exactly what you would except from a venetian hotel. We were lucky to have a room with a balcony which gave us some additional outside space and we were able to sit out on it. However this balcony faces the side of another building and the table and chairs of the neighbouring hotels restaurant. While this provides you with some atmosphere on the balcony and in our room, the noise goes on late into the night and this is especially the case when the restaurant is packing away the tables at night and early in the morning. The room itself was very nice and we found the mosquito’s were an issue in the room and it would appear others had experienced the same issue based on the number of small blood stains on the walls and furniture. The thing that is lacking in the hotel is any kind of lobby area, they have 2 tables to the side of the reception desk but these aren’t inviting to be used. The one thing that I need to congratulate the hotel on is the staff at the buffet breakfast, they are so friendly and helpful, they work tirelessly to ensure everyone is catered for and the tables are properly cleaned after each person has finished. Well done :)

Location: Located between St Marks Sq and the Rialto bridge, close to water taxi's. good selection of restaurants close by
We have just returned from a 3 night stay and found the hotel brilliant. Great location, staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Very nice and rustic hotel..close to pretty much e

I really enjoyed Venice and I was very happy with the hotel. Took my mum on holiday as she always wanted to visit and she was very happy with the hotel as well. One of the best holidays

mature married couple

The staff were always very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent value and the maid service efficient. The room ( 27) was comfortable. Only one critisism--- one external shutter was missing and this meant we could have been seen at night from the hotel opposite through the net curtain. Overall, a most enjoyable experience.
