Family room was a little cramped but ok for a couple of nights stay. All clean and tidy. Friendly staff all areas and a decent breakfast given the room rate. Lovely location, 10 mins walk from San Marco water taxi stop, 50metres from main shopping streets , 10 minutes walk to st marks square.

Great location

Hotel is really welll situated, two minute walk to the square. The room was much smaller than the pictures available but this did not spoil the experience.

Superb base for visiting Venice

The major plus was the hotel's very convenient location. At 5 mins walk from Piazza San Marco it offered easy access to most of the places tourists want to visit. Also, the single bridge to be crossed from the closest airport boat stop meant that arrival/departure was very easy as well. Our room featured extravagant chandeliers and twirly, embossed mirror frames - which was certainly interesting if not remotely in line with our preferred taste. On a more critical note, we would have welcomed explicit advance warning that the spring tide we experienced would see the hotel's approach street submerged in six inches of water. Following a very pleasant evening meal in a nearby cafe it was an uncomfortable surprise to have to remove our shoes to pick our way back to the hotel entrance. A word from the lobby staff would have adjusted our timing or at least used more appropriate foot ware. Another irritant - though no more than this - was that we could only access the hotel Wi Fi from the lobby and not from the room. The staff said there were booster points throughout the hotel and that others didn't share our problem. But I can only report on our own experience. All told, we would certainly recommend this hotel to short-term visitors to Venice. But we would also alert them to the small negatives we experienced.

hôtel très bien situe dans quartier calme / canal

Pros: proximité de tout !
Cons: fléchage pour le trouver!
Location: dans petite ruelle et sur ponton canal : tout Venise ! vieux bâtiment historique a proximité de tous les quartiers de Venise a pied par les dédales
pour un 3 étoiles : prestations a la hauteur , simples mais efficaces;au calme sur canal; petit jardin charmant et proche animations ; musées, églises,shopping et resto....

Romantische Städtereise

Schönes Hotel in hübscher verwinkelter und ruhiger Lage. Das gebuchte superior Zimmer Nr. 15 ist leider sehr klein und dunkel, jedoch hübsch und mit Minibar, WLAN und einer Sitzbadewanne ( Baden nicht möglich, ausser man wäre ein Zwerg:-). Der Frühstücksraum ( Keller) lud nicht zum verweilen ein, das Frühstück war ausreichend.

A ne pas manquer !!!!!

Acceuil agréable, parle français, chambre propre et élégante, il ne faut pas rentrer dans le détail mais plus que correct dans l'ensemble ... très bien situé à 5 minutes de la place st marc et 10 minutes du pont rialto ... je recommande cet hôtel afin de passer des bons moments, tout à fait charmant et le rapport qualité prix de cet hôtel est bien vu ... bon séjour sur Venise !

Formidable, really excellent location...... but we had that fabulous room number 109 which is "mythique" dozens of gondoles passing-by sometimes with musique and singing gondolieros, just under Your balcony/window a bit of euros more and You are THERE merci beaucoup Michèle et Gottfried Paris
