Pros: unbeatable location (smack in front of the vaporetto landing, and 2 minutes’ walk to Piazza San Marco); amazing view; lovely staff; good breakfast and dinner; comfortable beds; good water pressure in the shower; shower door that closed completely; shutters that closed to darken the room properly; heating A/C that could be turned off. Cons: the rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated, in the Venetian style, but they have a certain charm to them, creaky wooden floors and all; no lift. This wasn’t a problem for us, but if stairs are an issue, you might request a lower floor room. All things considered, this is a lovely little pensione. We plan to return.

Hier ist seit zwanzig Jahren nichts mehr renoviert oder modernisiert worden. Unser Zimmer ging zum Müllplatz für verschiedene Häuser. Das Frühstück ist unterirdisch schlecht und das Angebot sehr beschränkt.
