We arrived during the worst floods in 60 years, but the hotel didnt seem to be too affected. We saw that the path from the bridge to the front door was flooded so turned back to the train station to have lunch and wait for the tide to recede. After lunch the front door was still inaccessible but realized there was a back entrance that might have been available the entire time. Perhaps everyone was high strung due to the flooding, but the staff didnt seem as friendly as the other hotels we stayed at in Italy. The room was very nice but the stone or marble flooring enabled me to hear a lot of the foot steps from the room upstairs. The aspect I enjoyed the most was that the train station was right across the bridge. I also took the ATVO shuttle bus to VCE airport which is also directly across the bridge.
