Nice, Small, Rooms Only Hotel

Pros: Quiet comfortable and clean. Convenient location.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Less stairs!
Location: Close to Grand Canal and water buses hence easy to get to all the attractions. Good cafe for breakfast 25m away excellent restaurants closeby.
Situated on a busy street this hotel is only rooms, but they are comfortable and clean and with double glazing and shutters very quiet. The location is very central and convenient for the Grand Canal and most of the attractions. Check-in is at another hotel about 200m away but the staff show you across to your own hotel and room, helping with bags if necessary. Inside the front door there are lots of stairs to the rooms, these stairs are not good it you have very big suitcases or mobility problems. As well as a very comfortable bed there is a wardrobe, fridge, safe, chair and dressing table in each room but for people used to most budget hotels there are no facilities for making tea and coffee. The ensuite is well appointed with shower, wash basin, toilet and bidet and plenty of towels. Hot water seemed unlimited. For breakfast there is a great cafe 25m away and for dinner several good restaurants. We'll be staying here again if we're in Venice for a short break.

Good morning, thank you very much for your nice review. Our accommodation is not an Hotel but just a GuestHouse. We have a lot of additional services respect the others in the same cathegory and we decided to avoid coffee facilities and maintain low prices. Unfortunately it is well written that we have stairs with no lift but if someone has mobility problems we always try to assigne a room on the first floor. We hope to welcome you again very soon. Nice room tucked away

Just out of the hustle and bustle of the main streets but close to a nice square bars and restaurants

Close to the railway/bus station, inexpensive area

Pros: - relatively inexpensive hotel - inexpensive restaurants closeby - efficient air conditioning - easy checkout (just leave the keys on the table)
Cons: - air conditioning should be cleaned (there's some smell if used long) - the wifi didn't work during the first 48 hours
Location: After gaining exp. in navigating the narrow Venetian walkways: - DaVinci mueum - 5 min of walking - Rialto bridge - 25 min - S.Marc Square - 35 min
We rented a suite on the top floor. In fact it was an attic with a very low ceiling and multiple beams extending below the ceiling. My height is 1.8m and my head acquired quite many bruises during the 3 days we spent there. On the other hand the whole upstairs was at our disposal: a bedroom, next to it a cubby with chair and table and enough place to store lots of luggage, on the other side of the (private) hallway was relatively large bathroom. Altogether it was not bad for the price we paid, considering it was the high season and spot on the Venice island.

Good morning, thank you very much for you review. Our Suite room is exactly as shown in our pictures, not so high, with the beams, and it is specified that is on the last floor... If you are so tall maybe you had to chose another type of room in order to avoid to banging you head! I assure you that we cleaned all the A/C system with a specialized company about 1 month ago and all the filters are cleaned on each departure. Regarding the wifi, why you didn't contacted us? When a Guest told us about the problem we solved the matter in less than 3 minutes.... I hope tthat you spent a beautiful time in our city. Best regards

cozy room, nice atmosphere, easy communication and even a great view over the rooftops in venice! Everything worked well and we really enjoyed our stay.
