Freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Abwechslungsreiche Buffet Auswahl. Schöne Umgebung. Grosse und gut gestaltete Junior Suite mit wunderbarer Aussicht trotz 1. Stockes. Eher kältere Junior Suite weil die festen Balkontüren mit dem Sturmwind überfordert waren. Allen in Allem zu Empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und schön. Das Essen war nicht abwechslungsreich und auch nicht sehr gut.

Tolle Lage

Pros: Die tolle Lage direkt am Strand mit einer schönen Anlage.
Cons: Für die Halb- oder Vollpension einen anderen Koch.
Location: An ruhiger Lage, ausserhalb der Zentren. Mit dem Mietwagen erreicht man alle Ausflugsziele in kurzer Zeit. Mit dem Bus nach Ponta Delgada. Hotelbus.
Ein an toller Lage liegendes Hotel. Saubere, zweckmässig eingerichtete Zimmer mit einem kleinem Balkon. Über die Anlagen im Wellness und SPA Bereich können wir leider nichts schreiben, da wir diese auch im November nicht genutzt haben. Es war auch bei Bewölkung zu schön, um drinnen zu sitzen. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal, auch wenn man, wie wir, weder portugiesisch noch ausreichend englisch spricht. Es empfiehlt sich aber ein Mietwagen, da zwar eine Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel liegt, aber kein Fahrplan in den Bushäuschen angebracht ist und abgelegenere, schöne Ausflugsziele recht schwer zu erreichen sind. . Das Frühstück sehr gut und ausreichend. Das Abendessen ( wir haben nur Frühstück gebucht ) aus der Karte zu teuer und nicht wirklich überzeugend. Das haben wir nur am Ankunftstag versucht und uns dann günstig und sehr gut unterwegs oder in der ca. 200 m daneben liegenden Bar verpflegt. Sonst ein rund um gelungener Urlaub.

Schönes Hotel am Strand

Pros: Pool und Strand
Cons: Dampfbad war momentan in Reparatur
Location: Vor allem Wandern und Sightseeing.
Super Hotel für Erholung. Personal war immer hilfsbereit. Das Hotel war nah am Strand und man hatte viele Möglichkeiten, um Wandern zu gehen (braucht aber ein Auto).

Nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: The pretty spacious suite,. The big well kept garden, the sea view and sea closeby, Sightseeing places not far by car, the helpful staff at reception.
Cons: More deck chairs, the fruit drink machine without added water! More smiles and help from staff at breakfast. Had buffet dinner once, sorry, not a fan.
Location: Location well situated to all sightseeing places. Supermarket and gas Station also not far.
Lovely big garden, the suite I had with balcony and sea view was big and pretty with every comfort, the hotel is in the center to all sightseeing places, and has a Marina nearby, the staff at the reception were friendly and very helpful, free parking is a plus, I was not a big fan of the buffet and the staff there could smile a bit more, not enough deck chairs for this big hotel (especially when people reserve!), and of course the beach nearby was great (not many people in September).
